MERU Magnesium Oil Spray 50 ml

Magnesium straight to your muscles: anywhere, anytime

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals for athletes, as it contributes to normal muscle function. MERU Magnesium Oil Spray is a concentrated, 30% pure magnesium chloride solution that you spray directly onto your skin and massage in. Athletes like to use it during warm-up, during long training sessions and races, and after training to massage and relax tired, tight, cramping muscles. Used in the evening, it can also be part of a restful, relaxing routine.

Why "oil" if it isn't one?

Magnesium oil is not actually an oil but a water-based solution. It gets its name from the oily, slightly salty feel that concentrated magnesium chloride solution leaves on the skin.

What to expect during use

The first few times, you may feel mild tingling, itching or warmth. This is due to the concentrated salt solution and usually decreases with regular use. If it bothers you, dilute it further with water or mix it with body lotion.

When to use it

• Before training: as part of your warm-up, on the muscles you'll be working
• During training or a race: during long, intense efforts
• After training: after a shower, for recovery and sports massage
• To relax: in the evening, massaged into tense areas
• In the bath: poured into bath water or a foot bath, similar to Epsom salt

How to use: shake before use. Spray 5–10 pumps onto clean skin free of creams (creams and lotions can hinder absorption), then massage in thoroughly. Suitable for calves, thighs, arms, shoulders, neck and around the joints. Leave it on the skin; if the salty feel bothers you, you can rinse it off after 20–30 minutes.

Warning: for external use only! Avoid contact with open wounds, eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to freshly shaved or damaged skin. May cause mild tingling or itching at first. Discontinue use if skin irritation persists. Keep out of reach of children.
