Hammer Collagen provides about 9 g of hydrolysed collagen per serving from two sources: bovine collagen (types I and III) and marine collagen (type I). 9 g of protein, 0 g fat and 0 g sugar per serving. Protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones.
2 flavours: chocolate and vanilla, sweetened with monk fruit extract. Contains fish.

Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body, making up about a third of your total body protein. It is the main structural protein of your skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue and gut wall – no wonder it’s often called “the glue that holds us together”. Your body’s own collagen production gradually declines from your mid-twenties, by about 1% a year.
Hammer Collagen is an easy way to get collagen into your daily diet: one serving (11 g) provides about 9 g of hydrolysed collagen from two sources, made with US-sourced ingredients.
Athletes and anyone who wants to add collagen to their daily diet. It pairs well with Tissue Rejuvenator or Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator, as well as with Endurance C.
Contains fish.
US-sourced bovine hides, plus US-sourced fish scales and skin. The collagen in the product is hydrolysed (in the form of collagen peptides) – “hydrolysed collagen” and “collagen peptides” mean the same thing.
These are the two most common collagen types in the body, found mainly in the skin, bones, tendons and blood vessels.
One serving (11 g, 1 level scoop) contains a total of about 9 g of collagen from the two sources.
Mix 1 level scoop (11 g) of powder with about 240 ml (8 fl oz) of water. You can have it at any time of day – many people take it in the morning, after training or before bed.
Type I: it makes up about 90% of all the collagen in your body and about 30% of your total body protein. It is the main structural protein of muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues.
Bovine collagen is especially rich in proline, glycine and hydroxyproline – the characteristic amino acids of collagen.
Type III is a fibrous collagen protein. It is found in significant amounts in the skin, blood vessels, gut wall and lungs, and often occurs together with type I. Collagen molecules have a characteristic triple-helix structure.
So far, 28 types of collagen have been identified, but the vast majority of the collagen in the body is type I, II or III. [1, 2]

Type II collagen is the main component of cartilage – which is why it’s in Tissue Rejuvenator (as UC-II™ undenatured type II collagen) – but it makes up only a small share of the body’s total collagen. Type I is the most common (about 90%), with type III in second place.
High-quality, patented type II collagen is also considerably more expensive, so adding it would significantly raise the price of Hammer Collagen. The same goes for types IV and V, which are present in much smaller amounts in the body.
Yes, they work well together.
On top of these, Hammer Collagen provides collagen types I and III. Tip: if you take 2 capsules each of both Tissue Rejuvenator and Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator once or twice a day, you get a much broader range of ingredients than with either one alone.
It isn’t kosher-certified yet – we’re working on it.
No. Hammer Collagen is of animal origin (bovine and fish), so it is not vegan, and it contains fish – don’t take it if you have a fish allergy. It is made in a facility that also processes milk, soy, eggs, peanuts, sesame, crustaceans, molluscs, nuts and wheat.
Serving: 1 level scoop (11 g) mixed with about 240 ml (8 fl oz) of water.
You can have it at any time of day: in the morning, after training or before bed.
Tip: the powder mixes easily in water, but you can also add it to a smoothie, coffee or protein shake.
Bovine collagen – Hydrolysed collagen (collagen peptides) made from US bovine hides; provides collagen types I and III. Especially rich in proline, glycine and hydroxyproline.
Marine collagen (fish) – Hydrolysed collagen made from fish scales and skin; provides type I collagen.
Organic cocoa (chocolate flavour) and natural flavourings – for taste.
Monk fruit extract – a plant-based sweetening ingredient obtained from monk fruit (Siraitia grosvenorii).
You’ll find the exact ingredient list and nutrition information for each flavour on the Nutritional Information tab.
