Perpetuem Solids

Application:
A solid calorie source designed to complement the use of Hammer Nutrition fuels and help achieve optimal hourly caloric intake during exercise/competition lasting longer than two hours. Occasionally, Perpetuem Solids may be used as the sole calorie source if necessary.

Dosage:
Three Perpetuem Solids tablets contain 100 calories.

Notes:
Perpetuem Solids are ideal for all long-duration athletic challenges but are particularly beneficial for ultramarathon running or the run portion of half- or full-Iron distance triathlons, where carrying pre-mixed bottles of liquid fuel may not be practical.

Perpetuem Solids tablets are not designed to be dissolved in water!

Individuals with dentures or sensitive teeth should use caution when consuming Perpetuem Solids.

Maltodextrin – A high-glycemic index (GI) complex carbohydrate ideal for providing fast-acting, long-lasting energy during exercise.

Soy Protein Isolate – A dry powder food ingredient separated or isolated from other components of the soybean, yielding 90-95% protein with minimal carbohydrates and fat.

Energy Smart® (grape juice, rice dextrin) – A completely natural, low-sugar sweetener that plays a key role in the delicious taste of Hammer Gel while contributing minimally to total carbohydrate content. Energy Smart® is non-GMO, gluten-free, and allergen-free.

Soy Lecithin – A derivative of soybean oil, lecithin is an easily digestible source of healthy fats that promotes satiety and supports the body’s natural fat-burning capacity.

Sodium (Tribasic) Phosphate – Enhances all three ATP-producing energy systems: the short-term ATP-CP system, the mid-range lactic acid system, and the long-term oxygen/aerobic system.

The primary benefit of sodium (tribasic) phosphate is its ability to buffer blood acidity and maintain an optimal acid-base balance by neutralizing excess hydrogen ions in muscle cells. Effective lactic acid buffering enhances energy production within this system. This nutrient also increases 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG) levels, a compound in red blood cells that helps release oxygen from hemoglobin into muscle cells. Elevated 2,3-DPG improves oxygen availability to working muscles during exercise.

L-Carnosine – A dipeptide (a combination of two amino acids) that acts as a powerful lactic acid buffer and provides antioxidant support.

L-Carnitine Tartrate – A compound containing L-carnitine bound to L-tartrate, a salt of tartaric acid. L-carnitine is a key nutrient involved in transporting fatty acids into cells for energy production, while tartrate is a potent antioxidant.

Choline Bitartrate – A B-complex vitamin that assists in the efficient use of stored body fat as an energy source. Choline bitartrate also supports cognitive function, learning, and memory.

Stevia – A natural, calorie-free sweetener derived from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana, a plant native to Central and South America. It does not affect blood sugar levels or contribute to tooth decay like sugar.

Chromium Polynicotinate – A trace mineral that helps regulate blood sugar levels and plays a vital role in energy production.
