A vegan food supplement combining five ingredients to complement your daily diet. Uric X contains luteolin and celery seed extract, complemented by vitamin C, folate and molybdenum. Its plant-based capsule shell makes it suitable for a vegan diet.
Its vitamin C content contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to normal energy-yielding metabolism. The daily serving of two capsules can easily be incorporated into your mealtime routine.
Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, the normal function of the immune system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It also contributes to normal collagen formation, supporting the normal function of cartilage and bones.
The formula contains folate in the form of 5-MTHF. Folate contributes to normal amino acid synthesis, normal blood formation and normal homocysteine metabolism.
Its molybdenum content contributes to normal sulphur amino acid metabolism.
The formula is complemented by luteolin and a 4:1 celery seed extract. Luteolin belongs to the plant flavonoid family, while the celery seed extract is derived from the seeds of Apium graveolens.
According to the manufacturer’s recommendation, take 2 capsules daily with a meal.
The 60-capsule pack contains 30 daily servings.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children.
Do not use this product if you are allergic to celery. If you have a diagnosed medical condition or take medication regularly, consult your doctor before use.
A: Yes, all the ingredients in Uric X are 100% suitable for a vegan diet. The product contains no animal-derived ingredients and uses a plant-based capsule shell.
A: Luteolin and lutein are two distinct plant compounds with similar-sounding names.
Luteolin belongs to the flavonoid family. It is found in foods such as radicchio, broccoli, green bell peppers and carrots, as well as in herbs and vegetables such as celery, parsley and thyme. Research has demonstrated its potent uric acid-lowering and antioxidant effects, along with its ability to inhibit the enzyme xanthine oxidase.
Note: Xanthine oxidase is an enzyme involved in breaking down purines. Its activity produces uric acid and reactive oxygen species, including free radicals.
Lutein belongs to the carotenoid pigment family and is found in dark green leafy vegetables such as kale and spinach. Marigold flowers are the primary source of lutein used in food supplements. It has potent antioxidant properties and is particularly well known for its association with eye health.
A: When uric acid levels are expressed in milligrams per decilitre (mg/dl), the conventional reference range – the range considered normal in healthy individuals – is generally 1.5–6.0 mg/dl for women and 2.5–7.0 mg/dl for men. Some sources give higher ranges: 2.7–7.3 mg/dl for women and 4.0–8.5 mg/dl for men. For people with diagnosed gout, the conventional target is 6.0 mg/dl or lower.
Some experts consider these upper limits potentially too high. They argue that the limits primarily focus on preventing gout, while metabolic health problems associated with elevated uric acid levels may occur at lower values as well.
Dr. David Perlmutter, who studies this subject, recommends a uric acid level of 5.5 mg/dl or lower for optimal results. Dr. Bayne French recommends a level of 5.0 mg/dl.
One study suggests even lower values, considering uric acid levels below 5.0 mg/dl for men and between 2.0–4.0 mg/dl for women to be ideal.
According to the manufacturer’s recommendation, take 2 capsules daily with a meal.
Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) – An essential, water-soluble vitamin and potent antioxidant that supports overall health and also acts as a cofactor supporting enzyme function.
Folate (as 5-MTHF) – The biologically active form of vitamin B9. The body can use 5-MTHF directly without enzymatic conversion, whereas synthetic folic acid requires conversion.
Molybdenum (as molybdenum glycinate chelate) – A readily absorbed form of this essential trace element. Its chelated structure protects molybdenum during digestion, providing excellent absorption and good digestive tolerance.
Luteolin – A naturally occurring plant flavonoid found in foods such as celery, peppers and thyme. It is known for its potent antioxidant properties.
Celery seed extract (4:1) – Contains active compounds such as 3-n-butylphthalide (NBP) and luteolin, which support digestive health and the natural elimination of excess fluid.
