The TOP5 Ultra Performance Kit brings together the five capsule supplements we recommend most often to ultrarunners, long-distance triathletes and road cyclists, at a better price than buying them separately: Endurolytes for electrolyte replacement, Anti-Fatigue Caps for the late stage of long efforts, Race Day Boost for phosphate loading before your key races, Fully Charged for before training and racing, and Tissue Rejuvenator for daily use. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue; phosphorus contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
What’s in the kit:

The TOP5 Ultra Performance Kit brings together the five capsule supplements we recommend most often to ultrarunners, long-distance triathletes and road cyclists – at a better price than buying them separately. Each one has its own role: some you use in long workouts and races, one only before your most important races, and one is part of your everyday routine throughout your training period. Below, we explain what each one is for and why we put it in the kit.
During efforts lasting several hours, you lose not just water but also minerals through sweat. Endurolytes is made to replace them: alongside sodium and chloride, it provides potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese in chelated, well-absorbed form, in balanced proportions – not just salt. In our view, too much one-sided salt intake tends to hold you back, which is why we work with a moderate sodium content of 40 mg per capsule.
Why do we recommend it? Because this way you can adjust your electrolyte replacement capsule by capsule to your pace, the heat and how much you sweat, independently of your energy and fluids – over ultra distances, that’s one of the most important kinds of flexibility. Magnesium and calcium contribute to normal muscle function, and magnesium also contributes to electrolyte balance. Vegan, with no citric acid, sugar or caffeine.
Plenty of athletes know that “heavy legs” feeling in the second half of a long effort: holding your pace gets harder, and you feel mentally more tired, too. We consider one of the reasons to be the ammonia that builds up during exercise as a by-product of protein and amino acid metabolism. Anti-Fatigue Caps is made for exactly this stage: it contains magnesium and potassium aspartates (100 mg of magnesium and 140 mg of potassium per 4 capsules) and 700 mg of OKG (ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate), which we chose to target ammonia metabolism and the energy-producing processes of your cells.
Why do we recommend it? Because it’s stimulant-free – it contains no caffeine – so you can use it with peace of mind in an ultra race that runs into the night, before an evening workout or if you’re sensitive to caffeine, dosing it every hour. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal muscle function; potassium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system and to normal muscle function.
Race Day Boost is built on the phosphate loading method: on each of the four days before your race, you take a 4-capsule serving providing 1000 mg of trisodium phosphate four times a day – following the protocol used in sports science studies. Phosphate loading is researched mainly for its role in buffering the acid produced during exercise and for 2,3-DPG, which plays a part in releasing oxygen to your muscles. Malic acid balances the strong alkalinity of trisodium phosphate, making it easier on your stomach. The 64 capsules are one complete four-day load.
Why do we recommend it? Because for the key (“A”) races of your season and for multi-day events, this is the final step of your preparation – one you can complete in the days before the race, without any training. We recommend it 4–6 times a year. Phosphorus contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to normal function of cell membranes.
We developed Fully Charged for athletes who want nothing to do with pre-workout drinks built on strong stimulants. Each serving contains only approx. 10–15 mg of caffeine from green tea extract – less than a cup of green tea. The formula combines amino acids and plant ingredients: taurine (500 mg), beta-alanine (500 mg), L-carnitine fumarate (250 mg) and L-tyrosine (50 mg), complemented by beet root juice powder (a natural source of nitrate), tart cherry skin extract, the Spectra™ blend of 29 fruits, vegetables and herbs, and elevATP®.
Why do we recommend it? Because over ultra distances a big dose of caffeine is more of a problem than a help: you can use Fully Charged before the start and, in a long race that runs into the night, every 3–4 hours as well. The capsules are practical for racing and travel. Vegan, with no added sugar or artificial colours.
Your training volume puts a load not only on your muscles but also on your joints, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissue structures – when you run, every step is a repeated mechanical stress. In one serving (4 capsules), Tissue Rejuvenator provides the classic glucosamine–chondroitin–MSM combination (500–500–500 mg), complemented by undenatured type II UC-II™ collagen, plant extracts (Boswellia serrata, devil’s claw, yucca root, turmeric, quercetin, black pepper extract) and a blend of eight enzymes.
Why do we recommend it? Because it’s the “long-term” member of the kit: it isn’t for race day, but for your preparation with high weekly training volumes, for regular daily use – especially if you do workouts longer than three hours, are preparing for a multi-day race, or are still training hard over the age of 40. One bottle is a one-month supply.
Ultrarunners, long-distance triathletes, road cyclists and anyone preparing for long races lasting many hours or several days who regularly trains hard. The kit doesn’t provide energy or fluid: during the race, Perpetuem, Hammer Gel or HEED take care of those, and Recoverite after the finish. For complete fueling, take a look at the 100K Ultra Running Kit too.
Because they’re made for the different needs of long-distance sport: Endurolytes for the electrolytes lost through sweat, Anti-Fatigue Caps for the late stage of long efforts, Race Day Boost for phosphate loading before your key races, Fully Charged for before training and racing, and Tissue Rejuvenator for training periods with lots of repetitive loading. These are the ones we recommend most often to ultrarunners, triathletes and cyclists.
No. You use Tissue Rejuvenator regularly, every day; Race Day Boost only before a few of the most important races of your season; and Fully Charged, Anti-Fatigue Caps and Endurolytes come out in long or hard workouts and races. You’ll find the timing on the How to Use tab.
Tissue Rejuvenator lasts one month, Fully Charged 30 uses and Race Day Boost one complete four-day load. How long Endurolytes and Anti-Fatigue Caps last depends on how long and how hot your workouts are – count on 1–6 Endurolytes and 1–2 Anti-Fatigue Caps capsules per hour.
Only Fully Charged, approx. 10–15 mg per serving, from green tea extract – that’s less than in a cup of coffee. Endurolytes, Anti-Fatigue Caps, Race Day Boost and Tissue Rejuvenator are caffeine-free.
Yes. The products in the kit don’t provide energy or fluid. You still need to take care of those during the race – in efforts longer than 3 hours, primarily with Perpetuem, alongside Hammer Gel or HEED. The 100K Ultra Running Kit gives you a ready-made set for this.
The Race PR Kit focuses on race day and the days before it (Race Day Boost, Anti-Fatigue Caps, Energy Surge). The TOP5 kit is broader: it also includes electrolyte replacement, the pre-workout formula and daily joint support, so it’s designed for your whole training period.
Yes, that’s one of the things it’s for. A lack of the electrolytes lost through sweat is one of the common causes of cramps in long races, and Endurolytes replaces exactly these – sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium and magnesium – in balanced proportions. Magnesium and calcium contribute to normal muscle function.
It’s important to know that cramps can have several causes: fatigue, an unusually fast pace, heat, and too little or even too much fluid can all play a role, so no single product is a 100% solution. The best thing you can do is not to wait for cramps: take your first dose before the start, then replace electrolytes steadily every hour. If you’re prone to cramping, exercise in very hot weather or sweat heavily, Endurolytes Extreme may be the better choice.
Endurolytes, Anti-Fatigue Caps, Race Day Boost and Fully Charged are vegan. Tissue Rejuvenator is not: the glucosamine comes from crustaceans, the chondroitin is of bovine origin, the UC-II™ collagen comes from chicken cartilage, and it also contains milk. As a plant-based alternative, we recommend Vegan Tissue Rejuvenator.
