Behind one lab test often lies the work of multiple labs

The raw material manufacturer already verifies through laboratory tests that the raw material produced meets the specified specifications. This is followed by the manufacturing process, where the finished product is checked again, and the laboratory results for the production batch, i.e., the Certificate of Analysis (COA) documents, are prepared.
Certain tests are then also performed by independent, so-called third-party laboratories.
What does this mean?
It means that the laboratory conducting the test is not owned by the supplier, does not belong to the manufacturer, and is not a Hammer Nutrition laboratory. A completely independent organization performs the measurements, whose sole task is to objectively determine the facts.
If such a lab confirms that an omega-3 preparation genuinely contains the EPA and DHA amounts indicated on the label, or that the heavy metal content complies with regulations, then this is no longer asserted by the manufacturer itself, but by a laboratory independent of it.
