Each EnDuro D softgel contains 50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3 and 1680 µg of vitamin K2 (menaquinone-4 and menaquinone-7), in olive oil. 1 softgel a day, 2–3 in the dark winter months.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function, and to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones.
EnDuro D is also part of the Immunity Booster Kit, the Super Immunity Booster Kit and the Bone Health Kit.
Free from banned substances.
Vitamins D3 and K2 are fat-soluble vitamins that matter on their own, but we think they work best as a team – so we put them in one softgel. Each EnDuro D softgel contains 50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3 and 1680 µg of vitamin K2 in two forms (MK-4 and MK-7), in olive oil for good absorption.
EnDuro D is also part of the Immunity Booster Kit, the Super Immunity Booster Kit and the Bone Health Kit. In liquid drop form, with a higher D3 dose: Liquid EnDuro D.
In 1919 the German researcher Adolf Windaus described three forms of vitamin D: D1, D2 and D3. D1 turned out not to be pure vitamin D but a mixture of compounds, so the name was dropped. Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) is the plant-derived form. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is the form your skin also makes when exposed to sunlight; we use D3 derived from lanolin because it raises the body’s vitamin D levels more effectively than D2.
Very: vitamin D receptors are found on almost every cell in the body – including immune cells. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system. In winter, when there is barely enough sunlight for your skin to make vitamin D, we think it’s especially worth keeping an eye on your intake. That’s why EnDuro D is also part of the Immunity Booster Kit.
Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and to normal blood calcium levels. Vitamin K activates certain proteins involved in calcium metabolism; vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones. That’s why we think the two make a good pair.
At times like this we think several nutrients matter together, not just calcium. This is the combination we recommend:
These products are also available together, at a better price, in the Bone Health Kit. In the case of a fracture or other injury, your doctor always decides on the treatment – a food supplement is no substitute for it.
Yes, the two are linked: the enzymes involved in forming the active form of vitamin D also need magnesium to work. If you pay attention to your vitamin D intake, we think you shouldn’t forget about magnesium either – that’s what Essential Mg is for, containing five well-utilised forms of magnesium.
Current regulations require nutrients to be listed by weight (mg, µg); the amount hasn’t changed, only the unit. For vitamin D, 1 IU = 0.025 µg, so 2000 IU = 50 µg.
The amount of vitamin D is based on the recommendation of Dr. Michael Holick, one of the best-known experts in vitamin D research. The amounts of the two forms of vitamin K2 (MK-4 and MK-7) were set based on the research carried out with them.
No tolerable upper intake level has been established for vitamin K, and studies with the vitamin K2 forms have shown low toxicity. There is one important exception: if you take anticoagulants (for example warfarin or acenocoumarol), only take EnDuro D with your doctor’s approval, because vitamin K affects how these medicines work.
We ship our products in heat-resistant packaging, but in prolonged heat soft gelatin capsules can stick together. Put the bottle in the fridge or freezer for a few hours, then shake or tap it and the softgels will separate. This does not affect their quality.
Yes. Our supplements are made in accordance with US dietary supplement manufacturing regulations (21 CFR 111): every raw material used is tested for purity, potency, identity and integrity, and checked at every stage of production – blending, encapsulation, packaging materials and finished product – before it is released for sale.
Daily foundation: 1 softgel a day, with or without meals.
In the winter months, with little sunlight: 2–3 softgels a day.
During bone recovery: 1 softgel twice a day (see the FAQs).
If you take anticoagulants, only use it with your doctor’s approval.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – The form of vitamin D that your skin also makes when exposed to sunlight. We use D3 derived from lanolin (wool grease); it raises the body’s vitamin D levels more effectively than plant-derived D2. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function, and to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-4 and menaquinone-7) – The fat-soluble form of vitamin K found mainly in animal-based and fermented foods; research suggests it is better absorbed and stays in the bloodstream longer than vitamin K1. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones.
Olive oil – The carrier for the fat-soluble vitamins.
Softgel shell – Gelatin, glycerol and purified water.

| **NRV: % of the nutrient reference value (Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011), *no NRV established. Nutrition values are based on the US label. Pack size: 30 softgels. 1 IU of vitamin D = 0.025 µg. Recommended use: 1 softgel a day, with or without meals; in the winter months, with little sunlight, 2–3 softgels a day (see How to Use). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children. If you take anticoagulants (for example warfarin or acenocoumarol), only take this product with your doctor’s approval – vitamin K affects how these medicines work. Do not take together with other high-dose vitamin D products. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, taking medication or have a known medical condition, consult your doctor before use. Best before: see the bottom of the packaging – if marked MFG (manufacture date), 4 years from the date of manufacture. Storage: between 5 and 30 °C, away from direct heat, sunlight and moisture; in the heat the softgels may stick together – if so, put them in the fridge for a few hours, then shake them apart. Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Once opened, use within 6 months. |
